I have been looking for a new printer for my father-in-law, his field of application is mainly the writing of texts and letters. Since inkjet printers often dry out or are quickly empty because they only print a few pages per month, we now want to try it with a laser printer.
I recently put the printer into operation with him and have already printed several pages. It is very easy to install the printer: Remove all adhesive tape used to secure the transport, insert the toner (just open the flap, put the toner in, close the flap), the power and the USB cable on it, done. Windows 10 had the printer installed faster than I could watch and we were able to print the first letter. The pressure including the warm-up process lasted ~ 30 seconds, each additional page then naturally goes much faster after the warm-up. The image is really sharp, especially with text.
Even the haptic makes the printer a decent impression, he seems to me to be very stably built. Conclusion: If you only need to print black and white, this is well served. The printer is easy to set up and prints text quickly and sharply. I think it's also good for a lot more pages / month, but just for people with just a few pages per week, you can benefit from inkjet printers, as they either dry out during longer breaks or empty faster due to regular rinsing.
