The third generation ejects the double-fed pages when detecting a double feed and separates the sheets again. The scan job will not be interrupted. Especially the automatic ejection and re-separation is an absolute dream and facilitates the daily work immensely. I had and have many document scanners in use, but the Kodak i3300 is noticeably a generation ahead of all others. I'm just wondering why Canon does not focus on this feature and advertises it. Letters, bills, receipts and all the paperwork of the day scans the Kodak i3300 in perfect quality. If I later print the bill again, it is hardly distinguishable from the original. Therefore, it is advisable not to scan in black and white but in grayscale or in color. I also use the scanner to scan weekly magazines and all books that I do not receive in digital form. Due to the high speed even books with over 1000 pages are not a big deal.
