Xerox DocuMate 5460 Scanner Driver. After a lot of comparing reviews and tests, I bought this scanner and have not regretted it for a minute. It moves in clean, even stack, scans clean and recognizes the texts excellent. I have a central scanner in the office and work great with it. But for me it was important to equip 1-2 workplaces with increased scan volume. This Xerox DocuMate 5460 works fast and correctly and scans the front and back at the same time in principle. The forwarding to the folder I want works very well. Price / performance ratio has convinced me.Basically, I can understand that so many users are excited about the device. It is well suited for mobile use and occasional scanning of individual documents.

The size is phenomenally small and a pure USB operation is possible via 2 USB ports (power and data via separate cable). I still sent the product back, as the speed, the missing TWAIN driver, and the lack of a tray ejection slot are not optimal for office use. I now have the more powerful, larger model in use and thus significantly more satisfied for my purpose. Overall this Xerox DocuMate 5460 scanner is small handy device. I've had a flatbed scanner so far, and that was tedious. Now I can scan two pages in one pass. Since I want to store a lot of documents digitally, that's what I need for space, ease of use, functional safety in terms of a top-quality device. I'm curious if the life is so good.
