Xerox DocuMate 4790 Scanner Driver. I was about to buy the Canon 208, but the frequent reports on paper feeding problems then let me grab the Xerox. The Xerox DocuMate 4790 driver setup of the scan software proved to be unproblematic under Windows 8.1. Insert DVD, first only the basic package selected, and after a few minutes, it could start. A task bar icon allows you to select basic settings and some (predefined but subsequently customizable) profiles for different scan tasks and destinations.
