Canon i-SENSYS MF512x Printer Driver. The Canon i-SENSYS MF512x printer is a real giant and I mean its size in particular. It weighs a lot and takes away a lot of space, you should plan that from the outset. The installation went on in the company network with Mac OS amazingly fixed and also the device at the individual sites was done in less than 30 seconds. It is now used as a network printer and can be controlled by two dozen individual stations and all unproblematic. The Canon i-SENSYS MF512x printing speed as well as the starting of the printer itself, are impressed. Everything works incredibly fast - at HP, I always have the impression because you have to turn 10min before printing the device. Here everything goes lightning fast. The print quality is good, amazingly better with pictures than with writing. Scanning works without problems, copy as well. A good machine, not cheap and not exactly small, but very fast and absolutely networkable. The Canon i-SENSYS MF512x multifunction device is certainly great for the office, we tested it at home with our Mac OS X.

What you have to keep in mind: The device is not exactly small and there should already be some (stable) surface to safely shut off the device. In addition, the air should be able to circulate, because when a lot of prints, there is a decent heat. Drum and toner are already installed and the supplied paper cassette contains 500 sheets of paper. The driver is supplied on CD, just follow the instructions and the device works; the whole thing takes about 10-15 minutes. This Canon i-SENSYS MF512x prints incredibly fast, about 35-40 pages can be printed per minute. Scanning works flawlessly, the corresponding button is pressed on the device and the device launches and opens the scan on the connected PC. The copying also worked without problems. You can also use the printer via Wi-Fi, which I find very convenient and has also worked perfectly. To set this up, the software must be installed on the end devices and set to receive Wi-Fi accordingly. This is fast and easy. The Canon i-SENSYS MF512x also has a fax function, which we did not test. Conclusion: Great multifunction device that really can do it all.
