Lexmark Prevail Pro706 Printer Driver. Lexmark Prevail Pro706 is a smart device with up to the paper supply of proper processing. Unfortunately, Lexmark does not seem to be able to write adequate drivers for OSX 10.7. The automatic sheet feed for the scanner draws only one sheet after the other with the Mac OS, the configuration assistant for WLAN does not go at all; under Windows runs both great. The support again does not believe that I have 10.7 as an operating system because their support system is designed only for 10.6. Unfortunately again back to Amazon; but I'll get a Brother, which is generally praised because of your OS X drivers, very very bad. I do not know if I got a Monday device. In 12 months I already have the 4 print head in the Lexmark Prevail Pro706 although altogether just once 2000 pages were printed. I can not recommend the device. On the other hand, the Lexmark service is exemplary, because I have been sent a new print head over and over again.

Since I need a reliable device, I can not use this Lexmark Prevail Pro706 printer. From inkjet printers I have adopted goodbye again, which I bought in the meantime from different manufacturers. These are usually always nice cheap, in the maintenance very expensive and after a short time they fall out or always produce again more frustration than pleasure, with this printer: paper jam in the ADF, smudged ink, poor text expression, although original ink has always been used, which was practically delivered at every print head change. If you take a little deeper into your pocket, you get excellent laser printers without color, but also as a multifunction device. I have chosen a brother 8380DN and hopefully not regret the choice. More solid and more professional is the device in any case.
