Lexmark X950de Printer Driver. Lexmark launches multifunctional and color printers in A3 format. The MF9 series: X950de, X952de and X954de as well as the color printer C950de are based on LED technology. All models are designed for medium to large workgroups. The printer costs 4000 euros, the combi-machines are available from 10.700 euros. Lexmark has expanded its range of color LED multifunctional devices for medium to large workgroups with the three models X950de, X952de and X954de. They offer a monthly print output of up to 33,000 pages. Also new is the color printer C950de, designed for a maximum of 22,000 pages a month. With all devices you can output documents in large format A3 (32 by 45 centimeters) as well as in banner size (32 by 121.9 centimeters). In addition to color printing, the MFPs offer the possibility to copy, scan and fax in color. Thanks to the Ethernet connection, this also works in the network. The manufacturer specifies the maximum printing speed of the three combiners in the black and white mode with 45 (X950de), 50 (X952de) and 55 pages per minute (X954de), color printing 40, 45 and 50 pages per minute. The print resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi, the scanning resolution is 600 x 600 dpi. The pure color printer C950de creates up to 50 black-and-white pages per minute and 45 color pages. An automatic document feeder with automatic reversing for duplex printing is available on all models.

The standard integrated memory of 1024 MB can be expanded to 2048 MB for the two smaller combiners and the printer. The X954de has already integrated the maximum possible memory of 2 GB. The capacity of the hard disk depends on the configuration. The standard paper feed unit holds 520 sheets and the universal feed unit a further 100 sheets. Optionally, all new features can be upgraded to a maximum capacity of 5140 sheets with additional feeders, finisher, booklet finisher and tandem feeders. Lexmark offers different security mechanisms. For example, an optional card reader ensures that only authenticated users can use the device. Network security protocols as well as disk encryption ensure the security of the data. The devices can be controlled via USB or Ethernet. An additional USB port is available at the front. With the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework, the X950de series has a platform that allows a wide range of software applications to be installed directly on the device. The C950de comes with a 10.9 centimeter large display. In addition to the Pantone calibration for consistent color shades, a color replacement function (Named Color Replacement) should ensure that CMYK values are printed, for example, according to corporate design. The dimensions of the X950de series are 76.2 times 64 by 68.5 centimeters, the weight is 116 kilograms. The C950de measures 56.5 times 64 by 68.5 inches and weighs 95 kilos. The MF9s of the X950de series and the C950de are available from the end of June. The X950de costs 10.699 euros, the X952de 12.399 euros and the X954de 14.599 euros.
