FastStone Image Viewer Download. A Program for viewing photos. FastStone Image Viewer is an image viewer that includes some tools for editing and format conversion. It is a good free alternative to ACDSee, with the advantage of being lighter. Supports image formats and most used pictures: JPEG, BMP, PNG, PCX, PSD, EPS, TIFF, WMF, TGA, ICO and GIF, among others; and digital camera RAW formats: CRW, CR2, NEF, RAF, PEF, MRW, SRF, ARW, ORF, SR2, RW2 and DNG.
FastStone Image Viewer lets you rotate photos (at any angle), resizing photos (with the possibility to choose from 11 algorithms), crop photos, remove red eye, remove shadow effect, adjust brightness or perform color, apply scales gray, add frames, apply effect paint or drawing (sketch), open files from a scanner, and various tools and effects more. Features drawing tools to draw lines, rectangles, ovals, curves, etc.; and the ability to add text on images or watermarks. With respect to the viewer, has a Windows Explorer-like showing thumbnails of an album or a particular folder interface. Clicking on any of the photos you can see at full size, with the ability to easily access all functions through menus that are at the edges of the screen (shown when the mouse pointer over it) .
FastStone lets you create presentations with pictures (slideshows), to which they can add background music and select from over 150 effects to apply to the transitions.
There is another very useful tool that serves to prepare photos to be sent via email, since it is preferable to send photos of a reasonable size and dimensions (in case you have photos taken with the camera using large resolutions). It also allows downloading photos from the camera to the PC. FastStone Image Viewer 5.3 is the latest version, updated in October 2014, which can be downloaded and used free of charge for personal use. It is available for Windows, and Spanish language.
