Canon i-SENSYS MF8450 Printer Driver. The new i-SENSYS MF8450 from Canon combines the functions of a fast text printer, photo printer, copier, scanner, fax machine and document distributor. The printing unit is designed for a monthly output of around 50,000 pages, which requires very good mechanical processing. Color laser printing achieves a physical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi with an additional optimization to 2,400 x 600 dpi. The duplex unit of the scanner achieves the same values and allows very fast operation at a speed of 17 color pages per minute. The paper feed is fully automatic and the corresponding copy modes Text / Photo / Card (Standard), printed images, photo, and text are also recognized by the device. The default paper tray contains 250 sheets of output paper. Optionally, the paper feed can be increased to 500 sheets (plain paper, recycled paper, heavy paper, transparencies, labels, envelopes), the maximum size being achieved with the DIN A4 dimension. Often, however, a paper supply of 500 sheets is not sufficient and Canon offers for it an under cabinet extension, which should cover the demand then.
