Canon i-SENSYS MF8040Cn Printer Driver. The Canon i-SENSYS MF8040Cn drivers install is okay, one simply misses extended settings like scaling the paper cassette independently of the multi-purpose tray. Furthermore, a paper feeder is missing and if one wants to get out an inserted sheet of paper in the multipurpose tray, one has to "disassemble" the multi-purpose tray in order to get the sheet of paper. To the network mode, I can unfortunately say nothing, because the printer is not currently running in the network. Large pro is the purchase price: for the money one receives a high quality, robust device, which runs very reliably.

The Canon i-SENSYS MF8040Cn printer was replaced at the beginning of the year after about 40,000 printed pages because the fuser unit was worn (wear on all printers). I could not have ordered the fusing unit as a spare part via Canon, and third party shops want to have at least 150-200 Euro for a new unit. I then installed the fusing unit of a identical, used HP CP1215 and now use the MFC as a printer. After almost 40,000 pages, he now spends his life with me and has worked so far without any failures. I then decided to work for the successor MF8080cw, which is almost identical, but is new. I hope this is just as robustly processed.
