Scanning is faster and extra reliable (in comparison with 2540). That you could decide on the structure (PDF, JPEG etc) but you cannot opt for decision when scanning from the printer controls. It uses some better decision settings so the scanned records become pretty big. That's really a gigantic problem to me but that is the only obstacle I see thus far. All other cloud features work pretty excellent. It is auto duplex which is great (2540 just isn't), and has front loading tray versus dust catching rear loading tray in 2540. This one is a bit bulkier than 2540 and makes use of identical inexpensive looking fabric.
